| Miscanti is the name of a lake located at an altitude of 4000m. At this altitude, the peaks of the volcanoes looked like very small mountains, and yet we are talking about mountains of more than 4200 meters.... the silver tube represents the lake and the wooden slats represent the volcanoes that surround it. This necklace is from the ATACAMA collection, which is intended as a tribute to the country of my 17 years, Chile. Atacama is the name of the desert in northern Chile where copper and lapis lazuli are extracted. The altitude, the wind of the high plateaus, the howling of the coyotes, the flow of the waters of the Cordillera and the starry sky: each jewel is inspired by this harsh and immense nature. |
